Lori Anderson Aiosa, DMD, MS
I am proud of what I do, and love to help my patients bring out their most beautiful smiles. Each patient has different needs and a unique story to tell, and I enjoy providing individualized care while getting to know every patient personally. I love the connections I make with our community, and each new friend inspires me to continually improve my skills.
Education and Continuing Education
For my education, I graduated from The University of Florida College of Dentistry. I graduated in 1997, but have never stopped learning about the latest orthodontic methods and techniques. As part of my continuing education, I attend regular meetings of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Association of Orthodontists, Orthogators, Invisalign, the Damon Forum as well as the Central Florida Damon Study Club. I also participate in webinars and local dental society meetings. I enjoy learning new things, and I know the importance of staying on top of the constant advancements in technology in order to provide my patients with the highest quality care.
Since graduation, my continuing education has been focused on the latest technologies, including self-ligating bracket systems like the Damon System, removable clear aligners like Invisalign, the use of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), the use of 3-D technology in developing treatment devices, surgically assisted tooth movement, and soft tissue lasers. These developments in orthodontic treatment help me offer more comfortable, predictable treatment results with increased efficiency and patient satisfaction. I'm also American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certified.
In the Practice
I am passionate about what I do, and always strive for perfection in my work. Orthodontics combines art and science to produce a beautiful, healthy smile that can be life-changing. There is nothing more rewarding than using my skills and knowledge to improve the lives of others. Every day, I get to witness the increased confidence that comes with a new smile, and I love sharing this excitement with my patients.
I have been practicing orthodontics since 1997, and am proud of my profession. I decided to become an orthodontist after having braces myself as a kid. I was self-conscious of my crooked teeth before I had treatment, but afterwards, I could not stop smiling! I knew then that I wanted to help other people attain that same great feeling that I had, and I never looked back.
I know that my patients want beautiful smiles, but they also come for the atmosphere and great orthodontic experience. That’s why I am proud to have the best team around! They are fun-loving professionals who really care about our patients. They all love interacting with the families who come to visit, and they help me plan plenty of fun activities and contests for patients to enjoy. They are also dedicated to learning a much as they can about the profession and improving their skills, and I am lucky to work with such talented and compassionate people.
I grew up in Gainesville, Florida, home of the Florida Gators! I have lived in Orange Park since 1994 with my husband, Doug, and our three children, Kevin, Nikki and Gregory. In my spare time, you can find me on the tennis courts or on beautiful Doctor’s Lake with my family.
